What Touches Your Child’s Skin Matters

Why Children’s Skin Is More Sensitive

A child’s skin barrier is still developing, making it more vulnerable to irritation and environmental exposure. Research shows children are biologically more susceptible to toxic chemicals because of:

  • - smaller body size
  • - rapid growth and development
  • - developing organs and immune systems
  • - increased absorption through the skin

According to the Children’s Environmental Health Network:

  • - 82% of children are exposed weekly to ingredients linked to nervous system concerns
  • - 69% are exposed to ingredients that may disrupt hormones
  • - 80% of products marketed as “gentle” still contain ingredients linked to irritation or allergies

What Are PFAS (“Forever Chemicals”)?

PFAS (Per- and Polyfluoroalkyl Substances) are man-made chemicals used to make products resistant to water, grease, and stains. They’re often called “forever chemicals” because they break down extremely slowly and can build up in the environment and the body over time.

Research has linked certain PFAS exposure to:

  • - hormone disruption
  • - immune system effects
  • - thyroid concerns
  • - developmental issues
  • - liver damage
  • - certain cancers

A study from the University of Notre Dame found evidence of PFAS in more than half of cosmetic products tested.

That’s one reason we chose to keep PFAS out of our products.

What Is BPA?

BPA (Bisphenol A) is a chemical commonly used in plastics and packaging. BPA can mimic hormones in the body and has raised concerns around hormone balance and development, particularly in children.

Because children’s bodies are still developing, reducing unnecessary exposure matters.

What Are Parabens?

Parabens are preservatives often used to extend shelf life in personal care products. Studies have shown parabens can act like estrogen in the body, which is why they’re often referred to as endocrine-disrupting chemicals.

Parabens have been detected in a large percentage of the U.S. population in testing studies.

At , we believe simpler is better, especially for children.

Why We Avoid Dyes and Fragrance

Artificial dyes and synthetic fragrance are common triggers for:

  • - skin irritation
  • - eczema flare-ups
  • - itching
  • - redness
  • - sensitivity reactions

And because “fragrance” can sometimes represent a mix of undisclosed chemicals, many parents prefer fragrance-free products for sensitive skin.

Why Elemental Chlorine Matters

Traditional bleaching processes can create harsh byproducts and unnecessary chemical exposure. We believe children’s products should be made with cleaner, more thoughtful processes whenever possible.

A Better Choice for Everyday Essentials

We created to be more than just toilet paper.

Our products are:

  • - PFAS-free
  • - BPA-free
  • - paraben-free
  • - dye-free
  • - fragrance-free
  • - free from elemental chlorine
  • - made from sustainable materials
  • - biodegradable and eco-conscious

Because safer products shouldn’t be complicated.

And caring for little bums should never come at the expense of growing minds or the planet.
